8 Awesome Movie Crossovers That Need To Happen

7. Bill & Ted/Dude, Where's My Car?

Every now and then we all need a break from super heroes, sci-fi action and gratuitous violence. Well, not really. But even so, comedies are fun- especially when they€™re of the slacker/stoner variety. In the late 80s & early 90s, Bill S. Preston Esq and Ted €˜Theodore€™ Logan had not just an Excellent Adventure, but a Bogus Journey as well, and in doing so created the basic template that films such a Pineapple Express & the Harold & Kumar franchise later perfected. What worked for Bill & Ted was that they were basically decent guys. They weren€™t smart asses and they weren€™t constantly trying to get laid. All they really wanted was to finish their history paper and play in their band. Similarly, Jesse Montgomery III and Chester Greenburg are a couple of equally earnest (if not particularly bright) young men who are driven by the not-unreasonable ambition to locate Jesse€™s missing car. Put these 4 brain surgeons together and comedic gold is pretty much assured. The only challenge would be to come up with a mission inane enough to challenge the combined intellect of Bill, Ted, Jesse & Chester. Awesomeness Level: 7/10

I'm 34 years old, live in New Delhi (India) and spend most of my time reading comics, listening to obnoxiously loud metal and playing with my dog (who does not like the obnoxiously loud metal). I work in advertising, though I use the term 'work' very loosely. Being a child of the 80s & 90s, I love cheesy hair metal, cheesy TV shows featuring talking cars and cheesy action movies. I also love different types of cheese, Gouda being a particular favourite. I've been collecting comic books since I was 7 and am a fan boy par excellence. Don't judge me.
