Since the new trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice was released last week, it's been surprising to see the sheer amount of negativity surrounding it. When Warner Bros. released their Comic-Con preview of the movie back in July, fans couldn't have been happier, so where did they go wrong with the second full-length trailer? Perhaps the biggest criticism thrown its way is the fact that it appeared to essentially spell out the entire plot of the movie, going so far as to drop huge reveals like a first look at Doomsday and The Trinity assembled. So, with big moments like that no longer left to experience for the first time on the big screen, why should anyone actually be excited for Batman V Superman? Well, there's arguably still a lot we don't know about how the movie will play out, and providing that Warner Bros. don't end up ruining Aquaman and The Flash's cameo in a TV spot a couple of months from now, Zack Snyder no doubt still has plenty of surprises in store. Going back to that trailer though, and if anything, the fact it was so revealing has actually done Batman V Superman a huge favour. By showing so much off, it may have just cemented its status as the frontrunner for 2016's best comic book movie. Marvel has enjoyed being on top thus far, but that could be about to end thanks to this movie, and these are the reasons why.
