22. Thanos Knows Everything Apparently

Loki being killed that early in the film is a pretty big WTF moment in itself, but it worked REALLY well for establishing just how dangerous a threat Thanos is. Same goes for Heimdall. But what's slightly more confusing is what Thanos says to Thor after he's just killed his brother.

After dumping Loki's lifeless body in front of him, Thanos quite smugly says "no resurrections THIS TIME" as if he was somehow aware of the events that happened during the Dark Elves' attempted conquest of the galaxy. But how? He doesn't have Heimdall's ability to see all souls, so it's not like he should be able to just check in on what's happening with people dotted around the galaxy.

And come to think of it, how does he know where the Infinity Stones are? It's mentioned that he somehow can, but it's then never established how - Thanos' only allusion to it himself is when he says he's "cursed with knowledge" when he knows who Tony Stark is. But come on, surely there needed to be some sort of explanation here?
