Avengers Infinity War Movie: 5 Things You Need To Know

What is it good for? Being absolutely amazing.

It's the moment everyone's been waiting for, the main event that's been hinted at ever since the post-credits sequence of the first Avengers film - no, not the shawarma bit, but the unstoppable rise of Thanos. The craggy faced cosmic villain (due to be played by Josh Brolin) has appeared only once since then, being behind the plot of Guardians Of The Galaxy but not really involved, but his brief turns in the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far have been foreshadowing for something bigger. A gauntlet thrown down. And a war. Amongst all the superheroic goings on of Captain America, Iron Man and Thor there's been further hints, with the various mystical MacGuffins - the Tesseract, the Aether, the Orb - being revealed as Infinity Stones, a bunch of super powerful items that can be put into a golden glove and used to control the universe. Which is exactly what Thanos plans to do with it. And, presumably, it'll be up to the Avengers to stop him. No, it definitely will, because last night Marvel announced the third (and fourth) instalments in the Avengers series. Would you like to know more? Well, then here are five things you need to know about the Infinity War.
