Avengers: Infinity War - Power Ranking Every Character

24. Miek

Thor Ragnarok Planet Hulk Miek
Marvel Comics

Right now, it's not wholly clear how much impact Thor: Ragnarok's Miek will have on Infinity War, but the way the film ends puts him directly in the firing line for Thor's initial encounter with the Black Order. And while teased footage suggests that Thor doesn't come out of it well, there's no suggestion that everyone else with him on the Asgardian ship ends up in trouble too.

That means we might get to see more of Ragnarok's best double-team, and more of the slightly under-used Miek, who is considered one of Sakaar's most fearsome warriors (he briefly shows off some of his skills a couple of times). He's not the same hulkinh brute he was in the comics, but Miek is a wildcard, and he should be one of the tastier combatants when Thanos comes calling.

23. Mantis

Marvel Studios

The newest member of the Guardians Of The Galaxy (well one of them) is definitely a powerful entity, as she possesses the ability to read anyone's emotions and - to a certain extent - manipulate them, which might well actually work in the fight against Thanos, if she can get anywhere near them.

Rather than punching him out, it's going to be key to find a less direct approach to defeat Thanos, and it could perhaps be that an unexpected Avenger ends up playing a key role in subduing him. And though it seems unlikely that someone so timid could have any say in the end, Mantis is actually just as durable as Gamora and Drax (though that's a spectrum in itself), and she'd be no push-over even without lots of combat training.
