Avengers: Infinity War - Prepare Yourself For A Rocket Raccoon/Hulk Bromance
The Anger Issues iconic duo.
One of the most exciting things about Infinity War is the opportunity we'll get to see new relationships between Marvel's cinematic characters blossoming, particularly between the Guardians Of The Galaxy and The Avengers. The idea of seeing Star-Lord trading snark with Tony Stark and Ant-Man is just brilliant, and seeing Gamora and Black Widow realise they're basically sisters from another mister will likewise.
And now, thanks to the loose lips of Mark Ruffalo, we also know that there's going to be a nice friendship between another Guardians and an Avengers.
The Thor: Ragnarok actor appeared on USA Today to tease a bromance between the Jade Giant and Rocket Raccoon, which will seemingly breed some humour:
It’s a very funny relationship that the two of them have: First of all, it’s the biggest superhero and the smallest. Just keeping them in a frame together is a feat and hilarious in itself.
In the absence of Groot (who will still be in his teenage stage by the time Infinity War comes around), Rocket will be looking for some more protection from Thanos and the Black Order, and it fits that he would seek out the biggest hero to align with. It also fits that both of them have the biggest anger issues in the MCU too, and both have issues making new relationships.
Let's just hope there isn't TOO much comedy. The destruction of the universe is no laughing matter.
