Bond 24: 10 Things You Need To Know

Bond's next outing starts shooting in a week. Here's the skinny so far.

It's widely believed that the 24th currently untitled James Bond film will start shooting in just a little over a week, on December 6th. As such, following the lead of Skyfall, it's exceedingly likely that a press conference will be called that morning to officially announce the cast of the movie as well as finally unveil the title for Bond's latest outing. As it stands now, there's a lot of vague information and hearsay doing the rounds online, some of it lent more credibility than it should be, while other low-key shooting information just might actually reveal quite a lot about what Bond will be up to in his next movie. With Skyfall proving to be such a massive success (earning some of the series' best reviews and a massive $1 billion box office gross), expectations are high for Bond 24, and with such an apparently distinguished cast already signed on, as well as a number of returning crew members, what's not to like? With so much potential, hopefully Sam Mendes and co. can deliver a consistent follow-up rather than, well, Quantum Of Solace. As Bond fans everywhere wait for that press conference announcement, here are 10 things you absolutely need to know about Bond 24.
