One of the most anticipated trailers of the event was for Glass, the new movie from M. Night Shyamalan that brings together characters and narratives from two of his most acclaimed movies, Unbreakable and Split.
Being a teaser it doesn't give too much away, and instead cleverly uses Sarah Paulson's Dr. Ellie Staple as a means of bringing together the three main characters: David Dunn (Bruce Willis), Kevin Wendall Crumb (James McAvoy), and Elijah Price (Sam L. Jackson).
It looks like it features plenty of the trippiness we've come to expect from Shyamalan, but also suggests that he's somehow managed to work the two largely separate strands into one exciting, coherent narrative.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
