Doctor Strange - 6 Major Reveals From The First Official Images

Who exactly are Mads Mikkelsen and Rachel McAdams playing in the movie?

Despite the fact that it appeared as if Disney were keeping their focus on Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Captain America: Civil War, they finally decided to pull back the curtain on Doctor Strange by revealing the first official images from the movie. The majority of fans expected these (or at least a piece of concept art) to debut during Comic-Con back in July, so it's fair to say that they're long overdue. However, with the stunning stills and concept art comes a wave of new details courtesy of star Benedict Cumberbatch, director Scott Derrickson, and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. As well as revealing major details on the characters being played by Mads Mikkelsen and Rachel McAdams, fresh intel about everything from the Sorcerer Supreme's Sanctum Sanctorum to the inclusion of the Multiverse has been dropped, and Marvel's first "risky" movie in Phase 3 is now shaping up to be the release which outshines the likes of Batman v Superman and X-Men: Apocalypse. Of course, following the box office success of Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man, nothing Marvel does should really be considered a risk at this stage, but these new Doctor Strange images confirm that the movie is going to be unlike anything we've ever seen before from the studio!
