4. Thomas Wayne Will Be A Featured Character

Although so far there's been no reference to Batman or Bruce Wayne showing up in the Joker-centric movie, there has been one character from the Bat-family rumoured to appear: Thomas Wayne.

It hasn't been revealed whether it's going to be a mere cameo or a substantial role, but Bruce Wayne's father will allegedly be showing up in some capacity, and will no doubt run into Joaquin Phoenix's villain.

While the movie won't be entirely linked to Batman, then, this inclusion could suggest that we might not only see the Joker's origin, but The Caped Crusader's as well, with Thomas' death potentially occurring at some point in the narrative - maybe even at the hands of The Joker.
