Fantastic Four Reboot: 10 Actors Who Could Play Doctor Doom

7. Christoph Waltz

We recently suggested on a similarly-themed list that Christoph Waltz - best known for his roles in Quentin Tarantino movies - could make a very fine Joker in the upcoming Batman Vs. Superman. But given the immense talents to be associated with every inch of this man's being, one could also argue that he'd been equally suited to the likes of Doctor Doom - more so, in fact. Picture the queasy delights as he delivers line after line with his trademark passive-aggressive splendor. The fact that Waltz is of German/Austrian decent also means that Doctor Doom's Latverian origins (that's a fictional European country where he was born, by the way) will translate up there on the screen. And besides, the thought of Waltz making the villainous transition, scarred and chewing the scenery like its going out of style, feels like the stuff of cinematic dreams - especially since we haven't seen him working any true bad guy schtick since back in 2011. That's a bingo!
