Kick-Ass 2: 10 Things You Might Have Missed

8. Facebook

Ka Nothing makes my skin crawl like a film trying to be up to date with technology, only to miss the point. The first Kick-Ass had one of the worst examples of recent years with Dave using MySpace as the main outlet for superhero antics. I've never used MySpace and don€™t know anyone who has for a good few years, so seeing a seemingly real world set film using it made everything feel a tad out of touch. Well there€™s one element Wadlow has improved on. There€™s never any direct mention of it, but throughout the film Dave uses Facebook. You just have to hope it wasn't product placement and just the filmmakers deciding to make up for one of the original€™s weaker decisions. While this element is believable, it does pose some major questions. Justice Forever seem to be discussing their team on a public page and if anything the characters lean on it too much. Oh well, I'm sure Zuckerberg was pretty happy.
