LEGO Batman Movie: 75 Easter Eggs & References You Need To See

27. The Phyllis/Martha Joke

When The Joker gets to the Phantom Zone, he's met by Phyllis the guardian of the Zone (who is basically just an 8 by 2 block with light blocks attached). She introduces herself and Mr J proclaims "that was my mother's name!" in dismay.

It's another jab at the stupid Martha moment in Batman v Superman and it's as funny as it is subtle.

26. Batman's A Master Builder Now

There aren't many nods back to The LEGO Movie, surprisingly, but it does turn out that Batman is now a Master Builder, and can build anything out of any LEGO objects.

25. Another Richard Cheese Song

Well two actually.

After the lounge singing legend was asked by Zack Snyder to record a version of Cole Porter's “Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye” for the background of Lex Luthor's party scene, he returns to Batman films with two songs.

He and his band are immortalised in LEGO form playing Michael Jackson's "Man In The Mirror" at one point and they also recorded a stripped down version of "Everything Is Awesome" from The LEGO Movie.
