Meet Justice League’s New Batmobile: Because Batman Needed More Guns

"Upgrades…what are you worried about Wayne?”

Zack Snyder has revealed the new Batmobile from the upcoming Justice League movie and, well, holy guns, Batman, that is a lot of firepower.

Posting to social media site Vero, Snyder uploaded the image of the souped-up new Batmobile with the caption "Upgrades…what are you worried about Wayne”.

The overall structure of the Batmobile hasn't changed all that much from the version that appeared in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (pictured above) but, as you can see from the image below, it has received a number of additions in the form of heavy artillery. The armoured hood is joined by some automated guns, a huge rife, and who knows what else on the inside.

After criticisms of this new iteration of Batman a) using guns at all, and b) being a killer, it's good to see Snyder has really gotten to the root of the problem, making the new Batmobile less vehicle, more all-out weapon. That'll improve things.

The reveal comes just a week after Snyder revealed some test footage of Jason Momoa's Aquaman swimming underwater, which means he's slowly peeling back the layers of the movie. In turn, that could well mean a trailer is on its way sooner rather than later.

Justice League will hit theatres November 17.
