Ranking Every DC Comic Book Movie From Worst To Best

23. Superman And The Mole Men

DC Movies
Lippert Pictures

It might not be the best movie in DC history, but there is something to be said about Superman And The Mole Men's commitment to an empowering message of anti-segregation and acceptance.

Using the sudden appearance of bald-headed humanoid Mole Men who live deep within the Earth as a cipher for Civil Rights issues, Superman doesn't actually battle a super-villain, but instead tackles intolerance within the local community.

It's something of an extended after-school special with cliched characters and a Superman who is DEFINITELY holding his middle aged paunch in, but there's charm in the antiquity even if there's not in the actual quality of the thing.
