6. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 has been made infamous by online reviews for all the terrible aspects that can be found within it. The film is easily mocked for its attempts at humor, bad action, bad acting, and story that doesn't feel like it belongs in a Ninja Turtles movie.

This film's greatest legacy is that it seemingly killed the Ninja Turtles movie franchise. These characters went into hibernation for fourteen years, not having a single movie between 1993 and 2007. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 is plagued with barrage of unfunny jokes and generic villains that don't leave any impact on the viewer. Despite the poor reputation this film has, it does have a few redeeming moments.

After being sent back in time to ancient Japan, the Turtles find solace with some of the locals after a legitimately intense scene. One of the Turtles rushes into a building engulfed in flames to save a young boy. That scene and the relationships that come out of the near death experience feel organic and give the film a few great minutes. However, in spite of having some good moments, it all ultimately fails overall.

Instead of Jim Henson's Creature Shop, which had done the previous two movies, the costumes and animatronics were done by All Effects Company. The new suits are incredibly inferior and add to the unpleasant nature of watching this movie.
