7. Quantum Will Be Related To SPECTRE In Some Fashion
Many were surprised when Skyfall was released that the film's narrative had absolutely nothing to do with the organisation known as Quantum. Both Casino Royale and Quantum Of Solace had seen the supposed beginnings of a new overarching villainous organisation akin to SPECTRE. The group was nowhere to be seen in Skyfall though, being sidelined in favour of an entirely unrelated story about a rogue MI6 agent. Many have attributed the total absence of Quantum in Skyfall as being the result of Solcace's poor reception from critics. However, it looks to be making a return. The actor that portrayed Quantum member Mr. White on-screen, Jesper Christensen, has been confirmed to be returning in Spectre, which raises many interesting questions about the upcoming film's plot. As many assumed that Quantum was supposed to be a spiritual successor to SPECTRE of sorts, having a member of the former confirmed to be returning means that both organisations are completely different entities. However, there's two directions that the film is likely to go in. Either Quantum is the precursor to the infamous SPECTRE, or they are two rival organisations that are fighting for dominance. The former sounds more likely and Bond-like, and the decision to include both in the next film is certainly an interesting one.
