Star Wars: 10 Expanded Universe Characters We Hope To Never See Again

Star Wars Jaxxon Most of the time, the Star Wars Expanded Unverse is a joy to experience. It€™s full of epic stories and engaging characters like Tusken Raider Jedi A€™Sharad Hett and assassin droid HK-47. But then there€™s the dark side of the Expanded Universe. Bland stories, horribly twee dialogue, and characters that you eventually hope to see die horribly. And these are just some of those characters...

10. Baji €“ The Jedi Prince Books

url-2 The first of two characters on this list that appeared in the Jedi Prince book series of the early nineties, Baji is definitely the Jar Jar Binks of the Expanded Universe. He€™s not clumsy and isn€™t racially insensitive as a character but, like Jar Jar, he is irritating as hell. Because if you thought Jar Jar and Yoda had annoying speech patterns then they have got nothing on this guy. Baji speaks completely in rhyming couplets. Something that makes him so difficult to understand that Imperial warlord Trioculus has to ask one of his officers to translate what Baji is saying. So he is basically a rhyming space hippie who works as a botanist on Yavin IV. Thanks, Expanded Universe writers. He€™s just what the Star Wars universe needed. Thankfully, things turn bad for Baji when he is conscripted at gunpoint to work as Trioculus€™s personal doctor. Unfortunately, we never get a €œYou have failed me€ moment from Trioculus and Baji escapes the Empire to continue his life as a hermit botanist who people can barely understand.
