Star Wars: 10 Expanded Universe Characters We Hope To Never See Again

9. Crado €“ Tales Of The Jedi

Star Wars Crado

I don€™t think there€™s ever been such a big dissonance between a Star Wars character€™s appearance and their personality. Maybe Yoda but that was intentional and a good thing. With Crado, that€™s not the case. Regardless of what you may think of the quality of the artwork in the Tales Of The Jedi comics, Crado looks awesome. He€™s a Jedi who€™s basically a lion. The only thing that beats that is Master Thon from the same comics, a Jedi who€™s a dinosaur. But Crado doesn€™t live up to the benchmark set by his appearance. Not only does he display none of the serenity, skill, or charisma that are required of a Jedi (he€™s an easily led moron who falls to the Dark Side) but he achieves precisely nothing. He€™s the only one of Sith Lord Exar Kun€™s followers not to get augmented by the spirit of a dead Sith, he fails in the only mission he€™s given (to help a fellow Sith assassinate Master Thon) and he never does anything worthwhile. He€™s so annoying and useless that Kun deliberately stations him on a ship that will be at the heart of a supernova just to get rid of him. When you€™re willing to perpetrate acts of unspeakable evil but your master still thinks having you disintegrated is a better course of action than keeping you around, that€™s a sign of how useless you are.
