Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 7 Big Reveals Hidden In The New Images

I've got a very good feeling about this.

Sick of Star Wars? Well tough - with The Force Awakens only four (and a bit) short months away, that galaxy far, far away is only going to get closer. The latest in a long line of news about Episode VII comes courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, who have just unveiled their second exclusive behind-the-scenes look at J.J. Abrams' movie. The issue isn't out until Friday, but they've already revealed some cool, non-spoiler trivia about the year's most anticipated movie, as well as releasing some brand new images from the film. These pictures are pretty damn exciting on a surface, showing many of the new characters in new situations (but still no Mark Hamill), but there's also lot hidden in there that you may not have noticed at first glance. Far from just teasing events, these stills are revealing pretty key moments in the film and linking together moments from the the previous trailers. Here are the seven coolest hidden details.

Honourable Mention - How To Wield That Lightsaber

While the reaction to The Force Awakens so far has been overwhelmingly positive, the one thing that's caused people to question the new Star Wars (let's pretend people didn't seriously get uppity about John Boyega playing a stormtrooper) is that cross-guard lightsaber. Unsheathed in the first teaser, criticism has ranged from light derision to claims it's simply impractical. Well, after a lot of speculation the cover of Entertainment Weekly puts to bed that big question of how exactly you'd wield such a weapon. Previous glimpses in the second teaser did show Kylo Ren swinging the blade, but the broadsword style still looked rather impractical - here, however, shown pointing the blade forward with a shifted stance, those extra blades look like a real asset.
