Suicide Squad: 8 Possible Spoiler Explanations For Batman's Role

Is Batman fighting the Suicide Squad or teaming up with them?

After the self contained Man of Steel, the DC Cinematic Universe will finally begin with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice next year. It will then continue to expand when Suicide Squad is released, and Batman being spotted on set is a strong indication that Warner Bros. will build this world with more than just a few meaningless Easter Eggs and mentions. Suicide Squad won't simply mention Batman; he'll be in it. That's significant because it will mark the first time the Caped Crusader has starred in a movie which doesn't have his name in the title, and serves as proof that Warner Bros. are at least attempting to take the connectivity between these movies just as seriously as Marvel has since 2008. Batman having a role in Suicide Squad was rumoured and then confirmed thanks to some revealing set photos (which themselves revealed more than a few major spoilers), but what is the Dark Knight's real role in this villain centric movie from director David Ayer? The Joker and Harley Quinn being involved with Task Force X certainly dropped a few obvious hints, and there are plenty of other rumours and theories which make just as much sense. Here, you will find eight possible explanations as to why Batman is set to appear in Suicide Squad. Whether it's Aquaman's surprise role, what those scenes with The Joker really mean, or a possible team-up with Task Force X, any one of these makes a whole lot of sense!
