Suicide Squad: 8 Possible Spoiler Explanations For Batman's Role

8. To Save Aquaman

A recent rumour claimed that Aquaman's cameo in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be extremely brief, as Batman will only catch a glimpse of the King of the Seven Seas when he breaks into LexCorp and sees him - on a video monitor - being kept in some sort of containment unit. That would certainly explain Jason Momoa's unruly beard anyway! Another report added that Suicide Squad will pick up on this plot thread by revealing that he's being held by Task Force X leader Amanda Waller for the purposes of experimentation. With Lex Luthor rumoured to have a role of some sort in Suicide Squad, him having eyes on Aquaman in LexCorp could be an indication that the villain is working alongside Waller. Aquaman was apparently captured after a brutal fight with King Shark, a villain who is also being held in Belle Reve. The hero needs to be free by the time Justice League is released in 2017, so Batman breaking into the Suicide Squad's base to do that makes sense. This could be just a subplot in the movie and the team may not even need to get involved, though this would explain Batman's involvement and helps to build the DC Cinematic Universe...
