While the DC Extended Universe hasn't exactly enjoyed an astronomical level of success up to this point, it features one upcoming project that, whether dismissive of the films leading up to it or not, most fans are looking forward to.
And it's called "The Batman".
The character's first live-action standalone since 2012's The Dark Knight Rises, the film will see Ben Affleck donning the cowl after appearances in Batman v Superman and Justice League - and it's his violent, scene-stealing performance in the former that really caused excitement for this solo adventure to hit a fever pitch.
And while any concrete information about the film has been hard to come by (it's still quite a way off, after all), plenty of minor details and a whole host of rumours surrounding the production have been revealed over the last year or so. There's a lot out there, but luckily for you, we've gone and hunted down every relevant scrap of news and gathered it all in a handy list.
So, from casting announcements to director troubles, and script rewrites to test footage, everything you need to know about The Batman can be found right here...
