The Dark Knight Rises New Poster To Come With Trailer 3

Not only will Warner Bros release the new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises in the next fortnight, but we are hearing that a new series of posters will also land. Yesterday we heard from the Warner Bros. Pictures Exhibitor website that the third trailer for The Dark Knight Rises will be attached to US prints of The Avengers 2D, 3D and IMAX screenings from May 4th. We suspect, going off the past history of the studio, that the trailer will be made available online after the opening weekend of The Avengers, so from Monday May 7th. We are told that Warner Bros will be kick-starting the final phases of big marketing for the movie and a series of posters will also hit with the trailer. This will likely include character banners of Batman, Catwoman and Bane, with big billboard artwork reveals also likely. If you recall The Dark Knight in 2008 had a huge poster campaign with a couple of dozen different designs. We have only seen two posters to date but that is all about to change soon.
