X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer - Watch It Here!

So much awesomeness, so little time.

The trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse has arrived! 20th Century Fox have released the teaser online, and we have it here, for your viewing pleasure. I know you€™ve stopped reading this by now anyway, so here it is below.

As suspected, the trailer is very similar to the one screened at Comic-Con earlier in the year. That€™s not a bad thing, as now everyone gets the opportunity to see most of the same footage that only a select few saw back in July.

Where to begin? Apocalypse still looks like Ivan Ooze, but we see him walking and talking and it's a bit better. The action looks incredible and as spectacular and world-reaching as promised.

It€™s great to have Quicksilver back (which around two years ago is something no one thought anyone would be saying ever), and the new, younger cast members look good. But it's a shame they've gone straight to the black costumes, however much cooler they look now. It was a real missed opportunity to use the 80s as an excuse for some gregarious yellow spandex.

Let's be honest though, the real sell here is James McAvoy finally going bald! You have to admit, he€™s pulling it off.

I think it looks great. More of the same from Bryan Singer; he definitely got his groove back with Days of Future Past and is obviously re-energised for the franchise. The 19th of May can€™t come soon enough.

X-Men Apocalypse is released on 19 May 2016 in the UK and 27 May in the US.
