10 Big Worries That Could Derail 2015’s Most Hyped Video Games
Addressing that feeling of doubt you can never escape.
2015 is the year the gaming industry kicks back into gear, revving the triple A game-engines and making sure there's enough hidden indie gems tucked away inside the apology cakes to turn anyone's opinion back in its favour. The thing is, any way you look at 2014, aside from Shadow of Mordor turning out to be a surprisingly playable title (with an insane hook thanks to the Nemesis system), there wasn't a whole lot to write home about - especially when you look at what's coming this year and it feels like you can almost say for certain some titles are going to be huge successes. Still, gamers have been proven wrong plenty of times in the past - Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed: Unity to name a couple - and being such a passionate and overly-analytical bunch, it's hard to keep up a wide-eyed stare for very long without an encroaching feeling that something could go wrong just itching to be taken into account. So, although it's definitely fun to get carried away on the luscious velvet-lined seats of the hype train, it's worth noting that none of this year's titles are 100% dead-certs, in fact there's some increasingly worrying things cropping up that need to be addressed sooner rather than later.
