When you play a game, you want to experience everything the game has to offer, but sometimes this simply isn't possible.

The sheer volume of options and content crammed into a single title can be so great that no normal human being could see all of it. More importantly, certain things can be tied to a very specific set of events, making it extremely difficult for someone to figure out how to trigger them.

These types of rare moments are probably the most interesting experiences you can have in a game. They offer a radical alternative to the conventional way of playing the game, and discovering them feels like a whole special adventure of its own. What's better is that you can find them in even the popular titles out there, and you just need to learn where to look for them to see that which hundreds of thousands of players haven't.

If you've ever wondered if the game you're playing has special events for accomplishing something extraordinary, failsafes for those who manage to mess up spectacularly, or dialogue acknowledging some unorthodox choice you made, then the following list may be of interest...

10. Escape The Android Camp Without Alice - Detroit: Become Human

Detroit: Become Human features hundreds of different outcomes for every combination of choices and actions you take. The game even comes with a convenient event tree to help you track which paths you’ve already unlocked, and yet despite this, some outcomes have still only been seen by less than 1% of the player base.

One of the rarest outcomes according to in-game statistics is the ending in which Kara manages to escape from the android camp, which she and Alice can be thrown into towards the end of the game, by leaving her protégé behind.

The reason why this ending is so rare is threefold. Firstly, reaching the android camp already requires the player to make very specific choices in the story. Secondly, even if you get the camp ending, it can be difficult to find the path that lets you escape. And finally, the ending requires you to cold-heartedly abandon your innocent android child, meaning that even if you even manage to get to the choice, you may not have the heart to pick the necessary option.

After all, why would you betray the one character you spend the entire game protecting?

Well, to get the rarest ending, I suppose.
