10 Incredible RPGs You Probably Missed

97fcb85c-313d-45a6-9d42-b990f46602ef I was always one of those kids playing the really obscure games that no one has really heard of, especially when it comes to old games like on the SNES or especially the Dreamcast. So of course I€™m one of the people my friends come to when they want to find some good games of a particular genre that most people don€™t know about, and that€™s where this list came from. Most of these are pretty obscure RPGs but still really great games, and only two of them are ones I haven€™t personally played but I€™ve had a couple friends highly recommend that I should play them, especially with my love of retro games. And that's the thing, I'm pretty young for being so into the retro games, but they are often just as thrilling and fun and especially addicting. If that wasn't the case we wouldn't see them remade on portable devices like the Nintendo DS or through the Playstation Network. But even with mentioning that many of these games are more retro (before the Xbox 360 generation), these are still games that never received much hype or only recently started gaining hype because of games by the same company or in the same universe. Many of them were completely overshadowed by more well known Role-playing games like Pokemon back in the day and then never got the chance to come back except in what would be considered more of a cult following. A few of these games even attempted something completely unique or interesting such as combining dating elements with an RPG, and then had issues getting the promotion for it because no one wanted to take a chance on playing or advertising it. Regardless of what occurred to make these games a bit less known, there is no doubt that they all managed to provide the same kind of great gaming experience you'd find today from many games on Steam or with your console. And a few of them have received more recent hype because of that and the introduction of youtube Let's Play videos. But even so, these games just don't receive the kind of oomph you'd expect for such well done games. So give them a try before you totally discredit them. I won€™t guarantee that you haven€™t heard of these games, as some people will have, but chances are they are obscure enough that many people will not have heard of them and they are well worth the experience, so don't miss out on them.
