gungriffon A sub-genre that hasn't had much love in recent years, that of the giant robot mech, Gun Griffon was a great example from back in the day. Your mech had the ability to unleash all kinds of attacks, mostly utilizing missiles and machine guns but perhaps the most fun came from the ability to leap high into the sky and rain down death from above. The graphics have actually held up surprisingly well, considering it's age and the limitations of the console at the time.
