6. Die Hard Arcade
The scrolling beat'em up is a genre that seemed to die during the 32-bit era but with the popularity of 2D games on Xbox Live Arcade and PSN having something of a resurgence, Die Hard Arcade would be a great addition to the growing list. Titled Die Hard simply because it had a guy in a vest in a tall building (it was called Dynamite Deka in Japan) it was a really quite enjoyable brawler with a great selection of weapons and fighting moves. Plus the fact you could kind of pretend you really were John McLane added to the enjoyment.
