8. Injustice: Gods Among Us
Release Date: April 19th 2013 (EU) I find all fighting games a bit perplexing, none more than the recent DC fighters. If I wanted to be a pedantic git, Id say that Superman would obviously win every fight, so developing a fighter is pretty pointless. Hes bloody Superman, hes basically God in a magnificent red cape. Also, what the hell is a man dressed as a bleedin bat doing in a battle between supernatural beings? Batman would get the Bruce Wayne beaten out of him, how he survives at tall beggars belief. So Injustice: Gods Among Us is the next in line in DCs hero fighters thing; and like always, a pretty awesome cinematic trailer or two has been released. Which, everyone will know has no business in being created as it is not a true representation of the game. There has been a gameplay trailer which looks like DC vs Mortal Kombat, but I dont know if thats intentional or down too laziness. Comics are in at the moment therefore, a lot of hype has been aimed at the dweebs that replace human contact with pictures of men in spandex outfits. Dont get me wrong, I hate the human race more than most and yes, I do in fact own a pretty decent copy of The Amazing Spiderman The Final Chapter, but come on people. Gods Among Us isnt going to be anything new, exciting or anything we havent trudged through before. So calm down and spend your money wisely, like on food or a pet snake.
