Sure, the gameplay may not vary so much between games, but the story that happens in this games is actually a pretty cool one. The Modern Warfare trilogy has lots of memorable moments, and this one is definitely one of them. Whether or not you saw Shepherd's betrayal coming, you have to admit that the deaths of Ghost and Roach are definitely something very unexpected. Just imagine how harsh it must have been for those two to see that, just when they felt they were finally going to get some rest after a mission like that, that everything was going to end, one of their own kills them at cold blood. It made Shepherd's death at the end of the game something much more satisfying.
