10 Video Game Characters We Couldn’t Wait To Kill

10. Nemesis (Resident Evil 3: Nemesis)

That combination of fear and excitement I mentioned is realised arguably no better than in the third Resident Evil game, which has Jill Valentine constantly fleeing from Nemesis, a mutated Tyrant able to move faster than any other enemy in the game, and also equipped with a rocket launcher to boot. Players encounter Nemesis at intervals throughout the game and have to choose to either fight or flee, while at certain points players will be forced to fight him. At these points, the damage he sustains causes him to mutate, leading to the final battle against a severely deformed Nemesis, complete with tentacles and bulging muscles, inside a factory. The key to victory involves using a rail gun inside the room on Nemesis, though that's easier said than done given how much damage he can deal. Still, the moment when you have him sufficiently wounded enough to activate the rail gun is easily one of the most badass and satisfying in the entire series. Seeing him be blown into meaty chunks is only slightly less of a relief than Jill actually escaping Raccoon City mere moments before it's nuked into oblivion.
