10 Video Games You Can Expect At E3 2020

9. Assassin's Creed: Ragnarok

Uncharted 5

As of recent years, the Assassin's Creed's games have been on a two year cycle. After a decade of Assassin's Creed launches every single year, sometimes two in a year, things finally reached a boiling point with the rather glitchy Assassin's Creed: Unity. As a result, the fantastic AC: Syndicate suffered and Ubisoft decided a change was needed.

Since then we got the really good Assassin's Creed: Origins, and the great Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. Well, 2019 marks another off-year for the franchise, meaning it's due to come back next year and we already know a little about it.

You see, The Division 2 contained an easter egg that seems to hint towards the next AC instalment: a poster of a Viking King, with Valhalla written above him. Normally that wouldn't mean much, but said Viking is holding the Apple of Eden - the infamous artefact from the AC series.

So that's to be a pretty big hint that the next entry in the series will be set during the Viking era. That's an exciting prospect and it's inevitable we'll see the first footage at E3 2020.

It will be equally interesting to see how the game will differentiate itself from the likes of Hellblade and God of War.
