10 Video Games You Should Be Playing Right Now (October 2015)

Free Arkham Knight content, the best new releases, and how to prepare for Fallout 4.

October was one hell of a month for video games, and going into November it's only going to get better. Fallout 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Call of Duty: Black Ops III - even Telltale's Game of Thrones series is wrapping up with its sixth episodic instalment. It was also the month where we all came together to try and understand the ending to Metal Gear Solid V - not to mention its ridiculous amount of cut content - whilst simultaneously lamenting the firing of creator Hideo Kojima after 28 years of service. We caught some rumours about Nintendo's next project, defended the icy wasteland of Hoth from dastardly Imperials in Star Wars Battlefront, and found out that all it takes to top Metacritic's scores is one hell of an awesome idea (more on that later). The industry has definitely kicked back into gear following the trainwreck that was 2014, and as we cross over into November, there's all sorts of games to pick up, old and new. This article marks the first in a regular monthly series that'll celebrate reasons to replay the best games (some already in your collection) for all sorts of reasons. To get a flavour of how that's going to go, check out this inaugural selection of Games You Should Be Playing Right Now.
