11 Best Video Game Boss Battles Of 2015

2. Johnny Charisma (Batman: Arkham Knight)

Poor old Batman just can't get the Joker out of his head, and is eternally tormented by the maniacal villain - whether literally in the flesh or by hallucinating about him while taking on another villain infected with the Joker's blood. This hugely entertaining and extremely oddball battle is technically against Cabaret showman and Joker-esque madman Johnny Charisma, who's rigged a sound stage with six bombs that you need to disarm. But in place of Charisma, Batman imagines the Joker standing there in front of him, singing a sardonic, catchy little Cabaret number. If you hit him or start trying to disarm the bombs, the whole place explodes, so you need to use to Robin to sneak around the room and disarm the bombs while Joker/Charisma sings away at you. The Joker's sing-song is so pleasing to watch - as he struts all manner of old-school dance moves for Batman - that you're in no hurry for it to end, and so long as Robin stays out of sight it can technically go on for as long as you like. This encounter captures both Batman's fears and the whimsical evil of Joker perfectly, while forcing a completely different strategy to any boss you've faced before. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SrzV7IM080
