10. Ghosthunter
Look beneath that early 2000's veneer and you've got a cracking third person adventure that dabbles in the realm of soul and supernatural. As officer Lazarus Jones (don't snigger) on his first day, he and colleague Anna Steele are sent to investigate strange noises at a school that saw a professor murder ten students and disappear ten years prior.
Or, so it starts. But past that opening bluff, the story unfolds into one of resurrected fallen knights and the discovery of ghosts living alongside us. You discover that the professor didn't murder the students, as your bumbling releases both him from captor and the ghosts he'd also contained along the way.
It had a decent gunplay and capture element, featuring a wireless version of the Ghostbusters trap, as you jump into different locales based on the framed professor's research, including a backwater manor house, a penitentiary and a ghost ship.
It had a stellar cast too, including veteran voice actor Rob Paulsen, Terminator 2's Joe Morton, and even Sir Michael Gambon. Graphically, it was also well received, and scored very well across the board. Sadly, that's the last we've heard from Ghosthunter, as it seems to have faded into obscurity.
