5 Geek Franchises We'd Like To See As Lego Games

4. Lego Back To The Future

back to the future This one€™s probably the most plausible entry on the list as Lego have just confirmed that they are producing a model of the DeLorean from Back To The Future. As Lego games are usually released as tie-ins to actual Lego products, it might not just be wishful thinking to hope that a Lego Back To The Future game is on its way. Regardless of Back To The Future now being twenty-eight years old, it€™s ingrained itself strongly into the public consciousness and is still highly regarded as a film series. Thus it still has the potential to become a high quality and big selling Lego game. And as it€™s an American franchise, it would have particularly strong appeal to the US market which is where a lot of the big money is in gaming. Also, as mentioned in the Lego Star Trek section, it being a trilogy would make it easy to make a game divided into three parts that each consist of six levels. There would also be opportunities for some terrific vehicle levels including driving the DeLorean itself, the hoverboard scene from Back To The Future 2, and the train scene from Back To The Future 3. Why It Won€™t Happen I definitely think it could. It€™s a solid series to adapt into a game and there€™s a lot of comedy in it that could translate well to the Lego games. And if the Lego DeLorean set sells well, things could escalate from there. Though I honestly can€™t see the kiss between Marty McFly and his mother being included.
