5 Geek Franchises We'd Like To See As Lego Games

3. Lego Chronicles Of Narnia

leg With the release of Lego Lord Of The Rings last year, the Lego games confidently delved headfirst into the sword and scorcery end of the gaming market. A genre that was surprisingly absent from the series until fairly recently. The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe (and, by extension, the Narnia series as a whole) are hugely popular and play at least a minor role in the childhood of many people. That in itself is a solid basis for being converted into a Lego game. After all, it worked for most of the other franchises that Lego picked up. Thanks to Lego Harry Potter and Lego Lord Of The Rings, Travellers Tales have a lot of experience in marrying Lego and fantasy stories which would set them in good stead for making a Lego Narnia game. And because the series is part of the fantasy genre, there€™s a huge amount of potential for different characters and abilities such as Susan being able to hit targets with her bow and arrow, the Beavers being able dig things up like some of the pets in Lego Harry Potter Years 5 €“ 7 can, and Aslan turning things from stone back to their original form as he did in the books. Also, there are seven books to adapt which would mean a significant amount of stories, locations, and characters to use without the risk of becoming overly repetitive. Why It Won€™t Happen Walden Media€™s Narnia film franchise has lost some its momentum in recent years meaning that a game tie-in wouldn€™t have as much sales potential as it would have several years ago. And if the whole series was divided into two games, the part that didn€™t have levels based on The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe probably wouldn€™t sell very well since it€™s arguably the series€™ only book that has significantly imprinted itself onto popular culture.
