5 Ways Cyberpunk 2077 Should Follow The Witcher 3's Lead

4. Attention To Detail

Witcher 3's attention to detail is insane at times, with little things such as your horse Roach going off to get themselves a drink or NPCs running under shelter when a storm starts.

Little details might just sound like aesthetically pleasing things to notice, but they actually make the world feel like a real living environment. Hearing NPCs having full conversations about things that have nothing to do with Geralt increases immersion and avoids the world feeling like an empty sandbox for the player.

Children playing in the rain due to the randomly-generated weather or people spitting at Geralt due to their dislike of Witchers, gives the NPCs more personality. Also, Geralt's dynamic beard growth creates a genuine sense of time passing.

Little details could make Cyberpunk 2077's world feel just as full and immersive, so it doesn't feel like an environment designed solely for the main character.
