5 Ways Nintendo Can Make The Wii U A Success In 2013

1. Patience Is A Virtue

001 If you asked someone who is relatively familiar with Nintendo and their games about "loading times", they would probably return a blank expression. This is because prior to the Wii U, no one has ever had to wait too long before they can jump right into a game or explore features on a Nintendo console. The quality that is usually pumped into the products by Nintendo makes everything feel smooth. You can get a real sense of care. Everything€™s been tested. Everything has been tailored for the gamer, no matter how long it takes. It came as a relative surprise then, when it took over an hour to update the system from the box. You might think, €œWell, the Xbox 360 and PS3 sometimes have long update times, it€™s not that big a deal.€ However, this doesn€™t just relate to update; even performing somewhat simple tasks - accessing the Miiverse, checking notifications etc - sometimes take around a minute to load. This seems like a trivial complaint, but when it comes down to multiple long waits, often in one sitting, it can become rather tedious.
