With the Royal Rumble only a matter of days away, WWE gamers all around the world will be turning their attentions to some mandatory fantasy booking. The Rumble is a special show for WWE as it brings the curtain up on the new year and is guaranteed to happen just once a year. This lack of regularity means it never loses its luster and is arguably WWE's second biggest pay per view behind WrestleMania. The importance the Rumble holds in the hearts of all the WWE Universe means the company that produces WWE's annual game, alongside Vince McMahon et al, has to nail the 30 man over the top rope spectacular. Whether it be as part of a career mode, or just in an exhibition scenario, the game's Rumble needs to be compelling, exciting and not overly complicated.
