8 Things We Want From Star Wars Battlefront 3

star wars battlefront Star Wars fans, the Force is well and truly with us. Because after a long time and more uncertainty than a hung parliament, Star Wars Battlefront 3 has been confirmed. After its troubled production, the bankruptcy of its developer Free Radical, and the shutdown of Lucasarts, it€™s unclear whether or not EA will be building on Free Radical€™s work or starting again from the ground up (Although the lack of any gameplay footage at E3 seems to imply the latter). But regardless of that, this is great news for all Battlefront fans. So while EA gets to work on actually making the game, here are eight things we want from Battlefront 3...

8. More Than Two Elite Units

Star Wars Battlefront 2 Droideka In the first Battlefront, each faction had one elite unit class such as the Dark Trooper and the Droideka that gave each faction something unique and offered a change of pace for players since they had different weapons and tactics to anything in else in the game. When Battlefront 2 was released, the number of elite units was doubled and they had to be unlocked by scoring points on the battlefield. Now that Battlefront 3 is on the way, there should definitely be a few more added to each faction. My reasoning for this is the same logic I€™m going to use for a lot of things on this list: it changes the game as we currently know it and adds more content to it. If a player using the Empire suddenly gets access to a Stormtrooper armed with a flamethrower or one of the Emperor€™s Royal Guards, it€™s going to have a bigger impact on the battle being played than if the elite units available are the same as in the previous games. Other than the two elite units, the playable troopers are basically all the same with there being only a few very minor differences between the troopers in each faction such as their guns having a different maximum amount of ammo. Adding more individual unit classes like the Dark Trooper allows for the faction being played to affect the outcome of a battle more since there are more units on the battlefield that aren't practically identical to the ones on the opposing team.
