Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Disturbing Villains We Want To See

10. Hush

Let€™s start with the obvious one shall we? Formerly known as Doctor Thomas Elliot, and an earlier childhood friend of Bruce Wayne, this super villain now hates all things to do with the Wayne family. Unlike Bruce, Thomas Elliot hated his parents due to his father€™s abusive nature and mother€™s lack of control over her husband. He later cut the brakes on his parent€™s car but his mother was saved by the skills of Thomas Wayne, leaving the youngster to develop a violent and maddening rage towards the Wayne family as he waited for her death and his inheritance. He has since spent decades developing a scheme to see out his vengeance. We first heard of Thomas Elliot as a doctor working in Arkham Asylum where he was treating The Mad Hatter and Firefly. He then appeared in Arkham City, where Batman finds him in Gotham Cathedral with his face wrapped in bandages and clutching a crate. It later transpires that he has been acting as €œThe Identity Thief€, first mentioned in Arkham Origins, murdering people and stealing their faces in order to create a mask that is identical to Bruce Wayne. Batman later tracks him to his hideout, a makeshift and gruesome operating chamber, where Hush reveals his new face to Bruce. He escapes and Batman closes his active Arkham City case and opens a new one, intending to investigate further when the crisis was over, meaning he is surely going to appear in Arkham Knight and cause even bigger problems for the real Bruce Wayne and his alter ego.
