In a game full of hidden surprises, which moments stand out as the craziest?

Much has been written about how developers Rocksteady have created a near-perfect Batman experience with the latest title in their superhero series, 'Batman: Arkham Knight'. Before release, much was made of this being somewhat of a swan song for a beloved series of games, one which arguably peaked during 'Arkham City' in 2011, and stumbled with 2013's 'Arkham Origins'.

That latter title was developed by another studio, Warner Montreal, and seems to be widely regarded as the lame duck of the franchise. A buggy, broken mess, Origins only serves to make what's achieved in Arkham Knight even better. The pre-release hype was true, the latest game in the Batman cannon does make players feel like the Dark Knight himself, and Rocksteady crafted one hell of an experience.

Obviously, a lot of focus was put on the introduction of the Batmobile into the franchise, but there's so much more on offer that makes Arkham Knight such a well-rounded play through. So, what are some of the most memorable, shocking, insane and must-play moments from the game that everyone should be enjoying right now?

There will be spoilers included, so be warned. It's virtually impossible to explore the best Arkham Knight has to offer without gushing over plot details, or revealing certain gadgets and upgrades!

10. First Time You Get To Drive The Batmobile

Let's face it, the Batmobile was one of the bigger selling points for Arkham Knight. It's actually a credit to those developing the game that they managed to make both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City so good without it, because in the latest entry to the franchise, it's essential.

In truth, the vehicle wouldn't really have fit too well into the more tightly-focused Arkham Asylum, but it could have been incorporated into City. Whatever the case, it's definitely worth the wait once you get to drive the Batmobile for the first time.

Remember those old toy Batmobile figures that kids used to collect and push around? Well, this is like all those childhood dreams come to life, the Batmobile looks spectacular in Arkham Knight, and drives like a dream. The 'tank' mode may have split opinion, and it is true that shooting guns (even at unmanned drones) does feel a little 'un-Batman', but it's worth even that to simply scoot around Gotham in the thing.
