Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Insane Moments You Need To Play

9. Gliding Over Gotham With Upgrades

One of the best things in Rocksteady's previous Batman games was just how much they made you feel like the superhero himself. Whether it was creeping around scaring the hell out of unsuspecting 'tough guy' henchmen, or facing them toe-to-toe in large groups and conquering them without breaking sweat, there's always been much to enjoy.

In Arkham Knight, that feeling is only increased tenfold with the addition of one clever little upgrade. Available via the extensive upgrade wheel is the ability to make the trusty grappling hook even better than it already is. By 'purchasing' one upgrade, the grappling hook propels Batman high up into the Gotham City air, and it really has to be seen to be believed.

This is where the game looks most gorgeous, and there's an undeniable thrill from doing it time and time again. Few games make simply exploration as fun as this, and more should take note of how Rocksteady allow players the freedom to feel untouchable.
