Battlefield Bad Company 3: 10 Leaked Details You're Not Supposed To Know

9. Tighter, Streamlined Gameplay

In the run up to the release of Battlefield 1, the focus was on the shooter's representation of "all out war". Attempting to accurately reflect the huge scale of WW1, the game's prioritising of 64-player matches across wide-open maps made you feel as though you were part of an all-encompassing conflict.

The Bad Company series has never been about those gigantic battles though, instead opting to focus on tighter 24-player shootouts in more linear battlegrounds.

While no official player count for the sequel has been revealed as of yet, it's clear that DICE are returning to this smaller scale, moving away from all out war in favour of "tighter gameplay" and faster combat.

With that said, the leak indicated that although DICE are attempting to make the gameplay faster, they're also looking to increase the skill ceiling to add longevity to the title.

Consequently, the shooter should retain its hardcore sensibilities rather than trading them in for the accessibility of Battlefront, something all die-hard fans will no doubt be sighing in relief over.
