E3: 20 Jaw-Dropping Game Reveals You Need To Know About

It's taken months, but we finally have a huge amount of incredible games to pre-order and look forward to.

As the aftermath of E3 begins to settle in and the gaming world starts getting back to normal, gamers have been left with a show that was our first real look into what the current hardware is going to offer. We've been teased with titles for a long time, hoping they might make their long-awaited debut at the industry's most populous trade show. While a few lost loves did make their spectacular returns, it was surprising to see a few obvious omissions from the E3 line-up too. The first two days were filled with surprises, including some debuts of games that we never even dreamed of seeing more than a passing glimpse of. Old favourites like Mass Effect and Mortal Kombat came to party, while newbies such as Sunset Overdrive took a moment to shine in their own unique way. It was also a show that was buzzing with new technologies in the form of the Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus, which showcased simplistic games, yet there's a real promise for future titles. But as we all know, E3 comes down to one thing; the games. If you've been to E3 or watched the live-streaming of the event, you've probably heard developers and publishers say it all; how it's a "great time to be a gamer" and that the innovative titles will "push the current hardware to its limit" - all that jazz. The good thing is that this year really backed up all those buzzwords with a huge selection of titles that we're all still talking about. So hit the next button and we'll take a look at 20 games revealed at E3 that you really need to know about.
