Kingdom Hearts 3 was officially announced at E3 2013, and 3 years later, we still don't even have a release date. With a 2017 release date looking likely, many expected that Square Enix would drop the game's date at Sony's conference, but it came and went without any such reveal, sadly.
Perhaps SE are looking to put a little distance between this and Final Fantasy XV, or perhaps this simply suggests that the game won't be ready until late next year, and so its date can be announced at next year's E3. Boy, that's some really depressing news right there.
