EA Sports UFC: 10 Highest Rated Fighters

As approved by Dana White...

WhatCulture.com was recently invited over to the EA HQ in Guildford to get our eager hands on an advanced build of the new EA Sports UFC game and have a few questions answered by Creative Director Brian Hayes and Producer Jazz Brousseau. We were sat down in a room surrounded by several Xbox Ones and PS4s ready to play EA Sports UFC and were given the best part of a day to sit down and immerse ourselves in EA€™s superb first UFC game. With MMA being such a rapidly growing sport worldwide it was only fitting that the huge community of fanatical fans were given a game to allow us to step into the Octagon and control our favourite fighters en route to the title which had always evaded them in real life. Football-nuts have FIFA (and hipsters have PES), Basketball-fiends have NBA2K, Golf...people have Tiger Woods PGA Tour. It€™s high time we had a top-quality game and finally EA has given us just that. We were able to gather a lot of brilliant news about the game (which you can read about here) but we were also able to note down who EA had rated as being the best fighters in the game. It€™s only natural to be curious as to who the developers of a sports game have rated as being the best in the world and it€™s no different with UFC. The one difference between EA Sports UFC and a normal EA Sports game is that the developers weren€™t the only ones involved with creating the ratings. Brian Hayes informed us that once they had amassed a preliminary list of ratings, EA had to send the stats over to UFC President Dana White and matchmaker Joe Silva to make any necessary adjustments and give their approval. The fighters have each been given an overall score as well as a standardised striking, grappling and submission rating. There are many more specific ratings as well such as power, cardio, resilience etc but these are their overall ratings. Here are the 10 Highest Rated Fighters on EA Sports UFC (as approved by Dana White):
